She took care to make sure I was physically, mentally, and musically ready to perform. She was always full of new ideas to help me practice or enjoy playing the flute. Her connection with her students also set her apart from other private teachers that I have had. I really enjoyed being a student of Kallie’s, and I definitely miss her now that she’s gone!”
